Max serves as Vice President in Bowen’s Sustainability Practice, where he drives M&A transactions and strategic capital raises for high-growth companies across the agriculture, water & waste, and energy sectors.

Max originally joined Bowen in 2021, where he played a key role in establishing and expanding the firm’s presence in the agriculture sector. After rising to Associate, Max took a sabbatical to earn his Master’s degree in Plant Science from Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. While at Cornell, Max conducted primary research, collaborated with farmers through extension programs, and engaged directly with the scientific community.

This unique combination of financial expertise and technical industry knowledge enables Max to provide clients with insights that extend beyond traditional investment banking services. His deep understanding of agricultural processes, sustainability technologies, and sector dynamics positions him to identify strategic opportunities and drive meaningful value creation for clients.

In addition to his graduate work, Max holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. He is qualified as a general securities representative and holds Series 79 and 63 licenses.

In his free time, Max can be found exclusively outdoors. As an Eagle Scout and unapologetic thrill seeker, he is often backpacking, surfing, skiing, or, when the mercurial New England weather complies, flying.
