Ranjit Survanshi
COO & CFO
Ranjit joined Bowen in 2005 as the firm’s first full-time hire and has over 20 years of M&A experience in both advisory and operating roles. As COO & CFO, Ranjit oversees the firm’s banking operations and provides cross-functional expertise and support across all the firm’s deal team activities.
Prior to Bowen, Ranjit worked in the Corporate Development group at Novell, focused on evaluating, executing and integrating acquisitions as the company expanded its software offerings in Linux and IT asset management. Prior to Novell, he worked in the Communications Equipment group at Robertson Stephens. Ranjit received a bachelor’s of science degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is qualified as a general securities representative and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
In Ranjit’s spare moments when he’s not focused on closing transactions, you can find him attempting to entertain his wife and kids by performing Beatles songs on the guitar, running around Golden Gate Park, or cheering on (but more often bemoaning) the Washington Football Team Commanders.

Co-op and Intern Analyst Team
Bowen’s internship program offers a rigorous, in-depth investment banking development experience. Our interns are placed on one of our growth tech deal teams and engage directly with our senior team members on every cycle of the banking process. Our culture is entrepreneurial and fast-paced. We hire intellectually curious individuals with the passion and maturity needed to succeed in this challenging and rewarding environment.
We offer traditional summer analyst internships for undergraduate and graduate students as well as off cycle opportunities.
