Boston, February 25, 2025 – Bowen is pleased to announce that Votiro, a data and file security platform that specializes in advanced Content Disarm & Reconstruction (CDR) and data loss prevention, has been acquired by Menlo Security, an industry-leading provider of Secure Enterprise Browsers and a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company. Bowen acted as the exclusive M&A advisor to Votiro, which is based in Austin, Texas and Tel Aviv, Israel, with lead investors in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.
In today’s modern enterprise, data resides in numerous locations including SaaS applications while being spread across multiple public and private cloud platforms. Votiro uniquely addresses data and file security as documents flow in, out, and across the enterprise workspace, across multiple channels including the browser, email, and collaboration tools. By expanding its browser security solution with the Votiro data security platform, Menlo will provide a comprehensive workspace security solution that secures modern users wherever they are and adapts to how they work.
