Boston, November 20, 2025 – Bowen is pleased to announce that Datometry, a database virtualization platform that specializes in faster and cheaper migrations from legacy databases to modern, AI-ready data platforms, has been acquired by Snowflake, a leading provider of AI Data Cloud platform solutions. Bowen acted as the exclusive M&A advisor to Silicon Valley-based Datometry.
Datometry was founded to address the ongoing challenge of data ecosystem migrations, which often exceed budgets and run well past expected completion timelines. Datometry developed a database virtualization software platform which allows existing applications to run on modernized data platforms without any changes to code or APIs needed. By integrating Datometry’s technology into SnowConvert AI, Snowflake will achieve a faster time to value by enabling customers to migrate from legacy data warehouses to Snowflake up to four times faster while reducing costs by 90%.
