Agricultural pollution, extreme temperatures, soil degradation, and declining water supplies all combine to make the traditional manners of food production unsustainable. Feeding our planet will require a revolution no less earth-shattering than the massive changes brought about by the Industrial Revolution over 200 years ago.

At Bowen, we believe the Agricultural Revolution is underway. Not surprisingly, technology is in the vanguard.

Bowen’s Agriculture areas of focus include AI & ML to optimize energy, water and CO2 consumption in growing processes; drones, satellite technologies and advanced sensors; advanced hydroponic technology; water reclamation systems for plant irrigation; food waste elimination and upcycling; advanced agronomy to improve soil life and reduce dependence on synthetic fertilizers; and life sciences for efficient and ecologically-sound protein production. Bob Fleming, Managing Director, leads Bowen’s Agriculture practice.
